Here are Messi's new adidas boots | Play Test

It's a bit of a messy tribute from adidas and today i'll give you the lowdown on this xp 4.1 messy boot which is both a remake

of an old colorway a 15th anniversary boot and something exciting and you can actually buy it right now from unisport in the link up there or in the description [Music] now as the name el retorno or the return suggests this is the return of the king to add it as a speed silo which messi wore up until 2015 where he changed into the newly launched messy line and since the nemesis but since the nemesis is being retired now at least it's only kind of natural for messi to come back into the speed silo which is now the x not only is he coming back he's also celebrating 15 years with adidas how do you do that well you bring back an iconic colorway and while the design of the f50.7 tune it isn't the most iconic ever i'd still say that people are probably going to remember it because this is the food messy war when he scored that goal against hatafa in 2007 you know

the goal where he got the ball at midfield and dribbled past half the opposition team before he rounded the keeper and slaughtered home in a carbon copy of maradona's goal against england in 1986. what a goal that is because the f-50.7 tune it was the boot adidas wanted us to believe messy war when he scored that goal because if you're a boot nerd you will know that messi in fact wore the take down the f 30.7 which had normal moulded studs and not the interchangeable tuning system that i guess messi didn't like which is understandable because frankly it was a little but anyways he wore f30s and finally added us have really acknowledged that by putting a 30 on the right boot and a 50 on the left and okay it's a pretty old design but i actually reckon the boot looks good of course the bronze colorway but

also the way the three stripes kind of flow into the back of the boot it looked good back then and even better in 2021 i like it and of course as the book's name also suggests this is obviously not an x goes to 0.1 but what you need to know right now is that the boot's upper here is really thin it's very soft and equally as sharp on the ball and quite frankly i think it feels better and more comfortable on the foot then the eggs goes to point one and you still get the carbo-tex tooling which is the most aggressive the speed out there at the moment so it's a nice package and you should stay tuned because we may be seeing a lot more of this in the future [Music] and if we do that would be pretty good because i like what i'm seeing and i like what i'm feeling

and actually i think i enjoy this way of bringing back the olive 50s from before 2010 and the adi zero a bit more than what adidas did with the x 50.6 where the opera wasn't really up to standards and it just felt weird on the x19 tooling so i think i like this approach better where you bring back the og design slap it on updated tech and i think everyone except for the most hardcore tuning fans will be pretty happy because it gives you the og feeling that feeling and that's good enough and sure i could pick on the fact that he's technically not making a return because this is the x and he wore the 50 back then but it's an outstanding boot so who really cares but if you like the boot you can actually go and buy a pair for yourself via the little unisport right over
